RAMping Up! is a Robinson PTSO sponsored program for rising 7th grade students who would like additional support with the transition to middle school. (Robinson Middle School will hold orientation for all incoming 7th graders and new 8th graders on Thursday, August 20, 2020. See the Robinson website or contact Robinson Middle School Student Services for more information). RAMping Up! is led by middle school counselors and teachers, and involves:
Core Curriculum Overview & Goal Setting
Use of Digital Resources
Practice of Self-Advocacy Skills
Block Schedule Review & Agenda Planner Use
Building Navigation & Locker Practice
Collaborative & Team Building Activities
Participants receive a RAM t-shirt
At this time, due to school being closed, we do not have a registration date set. We will update this page when we have more information. We hope to be able to accommodate all interested students, but sign up early to get your choice of dates. Announcements will be posted on the Robinson website and sent through feeder elementary schools.
The scheduled dates for 2020 RAMping Up are:
Session 1: July 27, 28, 29 (Mon-Wed)
Session 1: July 30 & 31 (Thur & Fri), Aug 3 (Monday)
Session 3: August 4, 5, 6 (Tues-Thurs)
The program runs 8:00 am-12:00 pm each day, with an optional pizza lunch the last day of each session until 12:30.
Parents must provide transportation.
